Significant Support from Liv och Hälsa for Minerva Research Groups

In its grant decisions announced at the end of April, Medicinska understödsföreningen Liv och Hälsa awarded a total of €250 000 to eight research groups at the Medical Research Institute Minerva, with individual grants ranging from €10 000 to €50 000. Liv och Hälsa is one of the three most important funding bodies supporting research conducted at Minerva.

The awarded funding will be used for salaries of research group members, personal research grants, reagents, laboratory supplies, and research service costs. The funding supports both basic research into the mechanisms of common diseases and translational research aimed at developing new treatments.
